Our story
Why we started Global Trade
Buying a car from another country is a big decision, and most buyers only see a few photos and a price. We started Global Trade to change that. We work from Japan, close to the auction halls of the Kanto region, and we act for the buyer, not the seller.
That means we look for the car you asked for, not the car we want to sell. We show you the auction sheet and explain what it means. And we only bid when you say yes.
What we do
We source used cars from Japanese auctions and dealers, check their inspection records, buy them on the customer's behalf, prepare the export documents and ship them to ports in Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe and Oceania.
Who we work with
Private buyers importing a car for themselves, and small dealers who want a reliable buying partner in Japan.
How we work
Four promises we keep on every car
You see what we see
Every option comes with the original auction sheet, its translation and clear photos. If a sheet shows a problem, we tell you before you ask.
No bid without your yes
You choose the car and the maximum price. We never go above your limit, and we never buy a car you did not approve.
A price you can check
We break the price into auction price, fees, transport, documents and freight, so you can compare it with any local offer.
Checked for your country
Before bidding, we confirm your country's age, engine and steering rules so the car can be cleared and registered.
Based in Japan
Why it matters that we are in Japan
Being on the ground means we can attend auctions, check cars in person when needed, deal with Japanese paperwork directly and move cars to the right port quickly.
It also means you talk to one team for the whole process, in English, on WhatsApp or email.
